In his capacity as associate dean, Davey was profoundly immersed in the human service community within the region and beyond, coordinating all research and community-based projects and oversees faculty research development within the School of Social Work. His scholarship focused on community case management and the impact of weekend retreats for at-risk families; on their quality of life and access to needed services.
