Helping to improve the quality of life
“I have always been interested in the helping professions. My driving interest has always been anti-poverty policy, but I also have a high interest in disability rights. I would like my students to get a sense of this profession’s historical presence around these issues, and help motivate them to work to improve the quality of life of poor people and people with disabilities.”
